Install and use the TFS plug-in in Eclipse.
resolution process :
The methods for installing the plug-ins in eclipse are all the same, and the steps to install TFS are as follows:
- Download the TFS plugin. You can download the TFS plugin tfseclipseplugin-updatesitearchive-10.0.0.zip to the Microsoft Download Center.
- When the download is complete, open eclipse.
- Click the Install NEW software option in the Help menu.
- In the pop-up installation window, select "Add" and give the path to the plugin just below. As shown in the following:
- After selecting the file, the interface is as shown, then click OK.
- Next, you'll be able to move on to the next step, and restart eclipse after the installation is complete.
- After the restart of Eclipse, in Windows->preferences->team, you can see the team fundation server.
- Open Show views, in Windows->show view->others. Pop up the following window and select Team Explorer under Team fundation server.
- Open the view as shown, and then click the New Connection button to add the server address. The steps are as follows:
- Enter some of your necessary data, such as the server's address, in the pop-up Add New server window. The Login Details tab is also populated with the Advanced tab as:
Finally click OK and you will be able to see the item you are joining.
