Reading [CSS Essence (2nd edition)] Chapter II Summary

Just read the second chapter of CSS essence, mainly about the text style related to the operation of things.

Although this book seems to be very rejected (no one on the watercress mark), and indeed the content is somewhat outdated, but I still feel that some of the basic things can be learned, CSS is relatively basic and practical things.

The focus is on the text layout of link A, list ul, header line h, and basic element paragraph p.

1. Pseudo-class definition of a element, underline

2. List of UL's first list item pseudo-class First-child definition, bulleted list item (symbol Modification and use picture), list item horizontal display

3. header row h background color, underline, and large interval removal from subsequent paragraphs

4. Line height of paragraph p, horizontal lines, indent, first line indent, text centered, emphasis on some text, set to display as uppercase (or lowercase, first letter uppercase) and other conversions

The Web search supplement learns the depth of font family and line heights, as well as the subtle understanding of semantic tags.
