The Redis compilation failure may be:

1. gcc,gcc-c++ not installed

Yum Install GCC

Yum Install gcc-c++

2. Tcl not installed

Yum Install Tcl

[email protected] src]$ make testyou need TCL 8.5 or newer on order to run the Redis testmake: ***[test] error_1

The solution is to install tcl8.5 with Yum (or go to Tcl's official website http://www.tcl.tk/download version 8.5, and refer to the website for installation)
