Red Hat IBM launches KVM to promote open-source virtualization.

RedHat and IBM said on Tuesday May 4 that they will work together to build KVM Technology Products (kernel-based virtual machines) and said the purpose of this operation is to drive enterprise open source virtualization. According to the agreement between the two parties, IBM and RedHat will create KVM-based reusable products and services, allowing users to create multiple Windows and Linux versions on one server. RedHat and IBM have become partners in large enterprise cooperation projects. This time, they will use APIs to connect RedHat Enterprise Virtualization manager and IBMDirector and Tivoli software for joint development.
