RedHat6.4 graphic installation tutorial --- Minimal version (details)

Step 1: We need a RedHat6.4 installation Image File

Step 2: We need to enable the system iso file downloaded from the Internet from the computer from the CD or USB flash disk.

Step 3: After the boot is successful with a CD or USB flash drive, the following page appears:

Interface Description:

Install or upgrade an existing system Install or upgrade the existing system

Install system with basic video driver

Rescue installed system enters system Repair Mode

Boot from local drive exit installation start from hard disk

Select the first option, install or upgrade the existing system, and press Enter.

If you have any questions about whether to test the CD media, click "Skip" to Skip the test.

Click Next on the installation page.

Let's select the language for installing the system.

Here I select Simplified Chinese.

Select the default keyboard format. Generally, set the default format.

Select basic storage device

Storage Device warning: Select Yes to ignore all data

Give your favorite computer a personal name!

Use a graphical method to configure the IP address, gateway, and subnet mask of your Nic! Very simple

Click to configure the network

Click Add below

Set the IP address and subnet mask of the NIC.

IP: 192.168.80.100

Gateway: 192.168.80.2

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 or 24 (24 = 255.255.255.0)

Click Application

Now, the network configuration is complete! Here, the IP address of the computer is set in a graphical way.

Click next:

Set the system's default time zone and time.
