In Python's regular expression, there is a parameter of re. S It represents a multi-line match. Look at the following code:

In string A, contains a newline character \ n, in which case, if you do not use re. s parameter, the match is only made within each row, and if one line is not, a line is restarted. Instead, use re. S-parameter, the regular expression will match the string as a whole, in the whole.
