RHEL7 System Installation Process

Today we will introduce you to the installation of the Linux system. This installation environment is based on the Vmware Workstation software platform. We will use the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 system as the installation instance, the installation of other linux system versions is almost the same. If you are new to linux, install your first Linux system!

1. Create a new virtual machine, add it to the installation disc, go to the installation page, and select the first item and press enter to confirm.

2. Select the default language of the system to be installed. Here, the Chinese Simplified language is used as the system language. Continue.

3. Enter the installation information Summary and set the following content.

1. Set time and date

2. Keyboard and language support are both default

3. For software installation, select a server with GUI and install a system with a graphical interface.

4. Select "I want to configure partitions" for the installation location. Click the plus sign to allocate the size for/partition and/boot partition. The following partitions can be used as needed, and the boot partition is MB.

5. Set the network and host name. If your VM is a bridge between a real host, the switch will get an IP address. As shown in.

6. Click Start installation to go to the following page. During the installation process, you can set the root password and create a common user to set the password (Optional). The installation process may be slow, depending on the host configuration, the RHEL7 system will be installed completely.
