In Mac OSX, with wine, you don't need to install a virtual machine or run a window application.

Wine is an implementation of windows3.x and Windows APIs on top of Linux and UNIX. Is the use of API conversion technology to implement Linux corresponding to Windows corresponding functions to call the DLL to run Windows programs.
