Stand-up conferencing (Daily scrum, sometimes called Daily meeting) is one of the practices of Scrum Agile software development methodologies and is the easiest agile practice for the team to implement, with low implementation costs.
In practice, team members meet at regular intervals and at fixed locations each day. Generally standing in a circle, the reason is standing, one is to keep the spirit of concentration, and the other is to keep the meeting as short as possible; I think it is more important to show the equality of team members, this station will not be a progress briefing. If you are not a member of the Scrum team, you can audit and not speak or interfere with meetings, even team leader.
Generally, the meeting will not exceed minutes. At the meeting, each person mainly describes three things:
1) What did you do yesterday?
2) What problems are encountered?
3) What are you planning to do today?
The main purpose of standing meetings is to communicate within the group so that everyone knows what they are doing, what difficulties they have, and who can provide help. Through the station, can improve the communication between team members, to ensure the smooth flow of information, the progress of the task and the difficulties encountered have been aware of the project has a better risk control.
Personally, the site will be combined with the Burndown map, and members of the Scrum team will be able to clearly understand how the current project is progressing.
