Set the right key association for Ulipad on Win7
Ulipad is a good editor, but setting the right key association on the Win7 through the Ulipad interface fails, but by modifying the registry it is easy to make a few steps to the right key association.
First look at the effect:
1. Open the registry (WIN+R, run box input regedit)
2. Set the *.py file first. Find the Registry directory Hkey_classes_root/python.file/shell, click on the shell folder icon right → new → item, name the new item, what is the name, what will be displayed in the right key, such as my is "Edit with Ulipad ".
3. On "Edit with Ulipad", continue to right-click the new item, the item is named "Command", click Command, a "default" appears on the right, the following data is empty, and now is where to add the data.
4. Double-click the "Default" pop-up Edit dialog box to copy the following characters:
"C:/python26/pythonw.exe" "D:/program files/ulipad/ulipad.pyw"-N "%1"
The first quotation mark is the position of Pythonw.exe, is generally "c:/python26/pythonw.exe" (my picture of the more special, because I used the ArcGIS to install Python, the path is different)
The second quotation mark is the position of ulipad.pyw, fill in according to own circumstance, note case
The back is a number of parameters, I do not understand, copy on the line, pay attention to the quotation marks, do not use Chinese characters
5. After filling out the confirmation, press F5 Refresh, and then to the *.py file point right, to see if there is an item and can be opened.
6. Also find the registry directory Hkey_classes_root/python.noconfile/shell, set the file suffix named *.pyw, exactly the same as the above steps
