Recently, when installing Win8, I encountered several problems, which caused the installation to fail:
1. When the installation starts, the blue screen is directly displayed and restarted continuously.
2. Enter the key to prompt me "the product key contained in the unattended response file is invalid. Delete invalid keys or provide valid product keys in the unattended response file to continue Windows installation"
Check the cause and find out the cause:
1. The blue screen problem is that my vmware version is too low. It seems to be 7.0 (the installation of Win8 requires VMware 8.0 or above). After the upgrade to 9, the blue screen problem is solved.
2. After the blue screen problem is solved, follow the normal steps to install Win8, and the result shows that "the product key contained in the unattended response file is invalid. Delete an invalid key or provide a valid product key in the unattended response file to continue Windows installation. "The problem was found to be caused by a floppy disk problem in the configuration during installation. So I deleted the floppy disk directly when installing the configuration.
I thought it would be okay, and I was wondering if the error was returned.
Later, I found that there was another thing that was not changed, that is, the floppy disk in the lower-right corner of VMware was still started. I tried to close it, and the result was successful, and the error message disappeared.
