Several problems appearing in the app-V testing process

After the virtualization client starts, download the policy from the virtualized server and create the virtual application shortcuts on the client computer desktop or the Start menu based on policy permissions. During the download process, there may be situations in which you cannot connect to a virtualized server, access the specified OSD file, and so on. The following questions may be explained individually.

FAQ 1: Error code 4505cd-19d06a0a-10000004

When the client computer starts, it displays the dialog box shown in the picture, prompting the virtualization client to not contact the virtualized server, error code: 4505cd-19d06a0a-10000004.

Error reason 1

The virtualization server opens the firewall policy and requires the creation of two "inbound rules" policies in the virtualized server to allow "Sghwsvr.exe" and "Sghwdsptr.exe" connections. Once the rule is successfully created, the virtualized client can connect to the virtualized server. Create an inbound rule policy.

Error Reason 2

The "Application Virtualization Management Server" service for the virtualization server did not start.

FAQ 2: A virtualized client cannot retrieve an application that has already been published

After the Virtualization Server Management Console imports the application, the published application is copied to the "Adobe9" folder under "Conetent", and the published application properties are normal and the virtualization client cannot retrieve the published application.

Error reason, the default publishing application path for the virtualization server is "Content" and the published "Adobe9" application is located in the "Content\adobe9" folder. Because the directory of the Content shared folder is relocated, no corresponding changes have been made to the registry.

Close the registry, restart the Application Virtualization Management Server service, and the virtualization client can connect to the virtualized server.
