Sharing Between XP and win7, on-networkArticleWriting is too complex and not practical. One day I accidentally discovered that win7 sharing is as simple as XP, and it can be done in just a few simple steps, there are no articles on the Internet that are as complicated as what to do, what to close the firewall, what services to close and a series of complex operations, so I will not talk much about it, just let everyone see it more clearly. Recommended!
Since XP has come out very early, I will not talk about the sharing between XP and XP. I will only mention a few key points. First, make sure that XP is in the same LAN as Windows 7 to be shared. First, let's take a look at several key XP locations.
Simple sharing in the folder option is the easiest way to enable XP sharing and the most convenient.
The server in the system service is the most critical position. If this service is not enabled, XP cannot be shared. It is best to use a fixed IP address for the IP address of the computer to be automatically obtained, however, this will reduce the boot speed.
In fact, it is very easy to enable the sharing of XP, and there are also various tools, do not download a tool to enable sharing, the most important thing is to ensure that XP's own sharing can be accessed by themselves, for example, if my IP address is 159 and I share a file, I open my computer and enter \ 192.168.1.159 in the address bar to see my sharing, once you see it, it means that the XP sharing is successfully enabled. You can access it by entering this address in the address bar in win7. If you are prompted that the password is your XP user and password, it is recommended that you add a password to make sharing more secure.
This figure shows the image shared by XP.
The following describes how to enable sharing under win7.
First, make sure that win7 is on the same LAN as the XP to be shared. Check the key picture!
In order to make it clearer, I use arrows to mark it, so that no one may ask how to open this interface under Windows 7. If the image still cannot be understood, again, enter "computer"-"Organization"-"View", find the "use sharing wizard (recommended)" option, deselect the check box, and click OK, this is the opposite of XP, so we should take a closer look at it. Let's take a look at the following picture.
Follow the image address to open the corresponding dialog box. Due to resolution problems, the picture is not cut off. I will use text to describe a few important points. After opening this dialog box, we will see many words that enable sharing, let's make all the choices available for use, or make the choices based on our own needs. The most important thing is below. I will explain it to you separately.
Still the same image, but I dragged the scroll bar to the bottom. Note that there is a "enable password protection sharing" in it ", if this option is enabled, you need to enter the win7 account and password to access win7 sharing. It is similar to XP's password-based access. Select it as needed.
After setting this rule, you can access your shared IP address. My win7 IP address is 134. let me test it. Like XP, enter the win7 IP address \ 192.168.1.134 in the address bar, for example.
If you can access it, it means that shared Windows 7 has been enabled. Okay. By default, I enable sharing without a password, so I can directly access it when I access it. Because the image cannot completely show the effect, I will stick it to the end!
I believe everyone can see that this is the sharing of XP Access to my win7. Don't look at my tutorials as if there are a lot of content. In fact, it's just a two-step process. If you have any questions, please download the win7 system and ask for relevant answers.
