This article will introduce you to the solutions to the slow connection of PL/SQL to Oracle in a virtual machine on a Windows host.
When I used PL/SQL to connect to the oracle database in the virtual machine on my Windows host last weekend, it took about 10 seconds to log on successfully. It is strange because I ping the IP address of the oracle server in the Virtual Machine in Windows and the response time is within 1 ms. I found no answer when I got GG online. After being pointed out by my partner, it turns out that DNS resolution in Linux has an "error" when addressing ". This is related to the DNS misconfigured in "Network Configuration" when I use the bridge mode to connect to the Network. (You do not need to configure DNS when using the Bridged mode to connect to the Network ).
Solution: edit the DNS domain name resolution configuration file in Linux, comment out or delete the nameserver item.
[Root @ localhost etc] # vi resolv. conf
| The Code is as follows: |
|
# Search localdomain
# Nameserver 221.228.255.1 // IP address of the DNS server
# Nameserver 218.2.135.1 |
