Solus linux Chinese Input Method, soluslinux

By default, the ibus input framework is used to install ibus-libpinyin.

Sudo eopkg install ibus-libpinyin ibus

After installation, restart and add Chinese characters to system settings-region and language (remember to set ibus in miscellaneous)

 

Click the plus sign (+) to add Chinese characters. Select the intelligent Pinyin input method you just added.

 

The shortcut for switching the input method is super + space.

If there is no candidate box for typing, enter ibus-daemon-drx on the terminal.
