After installing oracle yesterday, I first got an error. I didn't set the oracle environment variable. I re-installed it again. Now, there are several minor problems, first, garbled characters may occur in sqlplus, and sqlplus cannot use backspace and up/down keys as in windows cmd, I found some online materials and finally solved the problem based on my own practices. I hope it will be helpful to you!
1. garbled Problem
Since we chose the Chinese version to install oracle at the time of installation, some prompts are displayed in Chinese by default in oracle, but my operating system centos does not have a Chinese package installed, this allows us to see some images in sqlplus ?? The solution is to install the Chinese package on the operating system:
Fonts-chinese-3.02-9.6.el5.noarch.rpm
Fonts-ISO8859-2-75dpi-1.0-17.1.noarch.rpm
You can use the yum Installation Method to install:
# Yum install fonts-chinese *
# Yum install fonts-ISO8859 *
2. Problems with backspace and up/down keys
Installing the software rlwrap can solve this problem. The software is a program written in c.
Http://utopia.knoware.nl /~ Hlub/uck/rlwrap/
Installation Process:
You can also view the decompressed tar package and the README help file.
# Tar-zxvf rlwrap-0.36.tar.gz
#./Configure
# Make
# Make install
In this way, you can use rlwarp.
[Oracle @ node1 oracle] $ rlwrap sqlplus/as sysdba
In this way, you can use the top and bottom keys to find the last command executed.
If you need to enter rlwrap every time, you can also add it to. bash_profile.
[Oracle @ node1 oracle] $ vi ~ /. Bash_profile
Add
Alias sqlplus = 'maid sqlplus'
Alias rman = 'rlwrap rman'
Save and exit
Make the file take effect immediately
[Oracle @ node1 oracle] $ source ~ /. Bash_profile
After rlwrap is installed, garbled characters may occur again when SecureCRT is used. Modify the character encoding of SecureCRT:
[Options]-> [session options]-> [terminal]-> [appearance]
Change the character encoding to GB2312.
