Today, I saw a shell question and asked to send an email to the user. The result is very slow when I start the sendmail service. I thought of the DNS resolution and host name configuration files.
If you know the reason, the solution is
In the/etc/hosts file
1. Enter your host name at the position of the first line 127.0.0.1 localhost. localdomain localhost xxx.
[root@Jason64-17 ~]# cat /etc/hosts127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost Jason64-17::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
In the/etc/resolv. conf file
2. Add the following
[root@Jason64-17 ~]# cat /etc/resolv.confnameserver 8.8.8.8nameserver 10.0.0.1nameserver 127.0.0.1
If the two options are set, start sendmail in seconds ~~
[root@Jason64-17 ~]# /etc/init.d/sendmail restartShutting down sm-client: [ OK ]Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ]Starting sendmail: [ OK ]Starting sm-client: [ OK ]
OK! Bingo!
