Enable "Windows subsystem for Linux (Beta)" in "Control Panel \ All control panel items \ Programs and functions \ Enable or Disable Windows.
You still need to enter the bash command in the "command prompt" and enter "y" to confirm that Ubuntu is installed on Windows.
When I enter "y" after a long wait, the progress is only 6%, and then "cute" Windows gives me a prompt "cannot be downloaded from the Windows app store. Check the network connection. ".
The evil GFW is harmless.
Question 1:
However, my Chinese people are both smart and powerful, and I have found a solution:
1. Install Telerik Fiddler and run the installation process until the installation is completed.
2. Open Fiddler and follow the steps shown in Figure 1:
Find Tools
--> Click HTTPS
--> Select Decrypt HTTPS traffic.
--> Check Ignore server certificate errors (unsafe)
--> Click OK.
3. Open the command prompt, enter bash, and enter y to download and install.
At this time, the HTTP connection is monitored in Fiddler. Follow the steps shown in Figure 2:
Click AutoResponder on the right of the Fiddler window
--> Select the following three options: Enable rules, Unmatched requests passthrough, and Enable Latency.
--> Click the link starting with "go.microsoft.com" on the left of the Fiddler window.
--> Click "Add Rule" on the right of the Fiddler window to Add the Rule list to the bottom of the button.
--> In the rule list, click the one you just created.
--> There is a Rule Editor under the Rule list. Select the downloaded offline source package.
4. switch back to the command prompt you just opened. When the bash command fails to be downloaded, enter bash again and enter y to download and install it.
In this case, it downloads the source offline compressed package that you just entered in the Rule Editor pointing to your local download.
Therefore, the download speed is fast. After the download is complete, it will be slow to decompress the package and install it. You have to wait patiently for about 10 minutes.
It may also prompt that the bash shortcut fails to be created. It does not affect usage. If you really want to, you can manually create a shortcut.
5. Download and install bash. Have fun !!!
