SQLite Installation Tutorials

Windows installation

You need to download sqlite-tools-win32-*.zip and sqlite-dll-win32-*.zip compressed files.

Create folder C:\sqlite, and extract the above two compressed files under this folder, will get Sqlite3.def, Sqlite3.dll and Sqlite3.exe files

Add C:\sqlite to the PATH environment variable, and finally, at the command prompt, use the sqlite3 command

c:\>sqlite3sqlite Version 3.7. 15.2 2013-01- 09 11:53 :05enter  for instructions enter SQL statements terminated with a  ";" sqlite>            

Linux Installation

Today, almost all versions of the Linux operating system are included with SQLite. So, just use the following command to check if SQLite is installed on your machine

$sqlite 3sqlite version 3.7. 15.2 2013-01- 09 11:53 :05enter  for instructions enter SQL statements terminated with a  ";" sqlite> 
 If you do not see the above results, it means that SQLite is not installed on the Linux machine. So let's follow the steps below to install SQLite: 
 
             Please visit the SQLite download page to download from the source code areasqlite-autoconf-*.tar.gz。

The steps are as follows:

$tar XVFZ SQLite-autoconf-3071502.tar.  GZ$CD SQLite-autoconf-3071502$./--prefix=/usr/Local$ Make$make Install                

1. bin File Installation
Unzip the downloaded file and put it in the/usr/bin/

RPM File Installation
Yum install-y SQLite Sqlite-devel
