TFS environment setup-IIS Installation

The installation environment of TFS requires the system to install IIS, which is not a problem for Microsoft's follow-up of technology. The installation process is listed as follows:

Install IIS 2008 on Windows Server 7.0
Click Start and point"Program"," Administrative Tools ", and then click" Server Manager ".
Click "role" in the tree pane ".
In the details pane, click "add role ".
The "add role wizard" is started ".
Read the instructions on the "before" page, and then click "Next ".
On the "Select Server role" Page, select the "Web Server (IIS)" check box. If the "add required features for Web Server (IIS)" dialog box appears, click "add required features ". Click "Next ".
Read the information on the "Web Server (IIS)" Page and click "Next ".
On the "select role service" Page, select the following check boxes (do not change other default settings), and then click "Next ":
ASP. NET
If the "add role services and functions required by ASP. NET" dialog box appears, click "add required role services ".
Windows Authentication
IIS 6 management compatibility
All slave check boxes are automatically selected.
View the installation information on the confirm installation selection page.
If the information is correct, click "Install ". To make corrections, click "previous ".
After installing IIS in the "add role wizard", click "close ".

install IIS 7.0 on Windows Vista or Windows 7
Click start and then click Control Panel ".
click program and then click enable or disable windows ".
the "Windows functions" dialog box is displayed.
select the "Internet Information Service" check box.
This step enables IIS 7 with the default option.
Expand "Internet Information Service", "World Wide Web service", and "application development function" in sequence ".
If the "ASP. NET" check box is not selected, select this check box.
The ". Net scalability", "ISAPI extension", and "ISAPI filter" check boxes are automatically selected. Do not select or clear any other check boxes.
Expand "Internet Information Service", "World Wide Web service", and "security" in sequence ".
If the "Windows Authentication" check box is not selected, select this check box. If Windows authentication is unavailable on the operating system, select the "Basic Authentication" check box.
Expand "Internet Information Service" and "Web Management Tools", and then select the "IIS 6 management compatibility" check box.
select the check boxes "IIS 6 console" and "IIS 6 script tool.
the "IIS 6 WMI compatibility" and "IIS metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility" check boxes are automatically selected. Do not select or clear any other check boxes.
click "OK ".
