Here, it must be for Windows 7, 8, 10, because Windows XP and Windows Vista systems do not have the features of a home network.

1. Introduction to Windows homegroup

With HomeGroup, it's easy to share files and printers on your home network. Other people cannot change the files shared by the user unless the user grants other users permission to do so.

If a homegroup does not exist on your home network, a homegroup is created automatically when you set up a computer for the Windows 7\8\10 system. If a homegroup already exists, the user can join the family group. After you create or join a homegroup, you can select the libraries you want to share. Users can prevent the sharing of specific files or folders, or they can share other libraries later. You can use a password to help protect your homegroup, and that password can be changed at any time.

Using a homegroup is the easiest way to share files and printers on a home network, but you can also use other methods to do so. You should be aware of the following three points when working with HomeGroup:

1. You must be a computer running Windows 7\8\10 to join a homegroup, window 8, and Windows 8. And all versions of Windows 8 can use a homegroup.

2. The homegroup is only available for home networks.

3. The homegroup will not send any data to Microsof's official database.

Windows 7\8\10 System users can install network card drivers both automatically and manually, and the process of installing the NIC drivers automatically is straightforward.
