Tomcat 5.5 modifies the server's listening port

 

Generally, the default Tomcat port is 8080.
1. Change the environment to port 80.
2. Exception: 8080 othersProgramOccupied
We all need to modify the port. Let's change the port to 8888 here!

1. Go to the Tomat/conf directory.

2. Use your preferred text editor to modify the server under the Tomat/conf directory. XML
3 find this line,
connectiontimeout = "20000"
redirectport = "8443"/>
4 modify 8080 is 8888
connectiontimeout = "20000"
redirectport = "8443"/>
5 save, restart Tomcat
6. Enter http: // localhost: 8888 in IE
