The company has two HP servers, namely HP bl460c G7 SmartArray p410i, HP DL360 G5 SmartArray. For various reasons, the operating system CENTOS7 needs to be reinstalled. However, after a variety of efforts, the CENTOS7 installation program is unable to identify the server hard disk.
Workaround:
1, enter the installation CD, with the upper and lower keys to select the installation of Centos--install Centos7 (note Do not press the ENTER key),
2, press the TAB key to install additional configuration, at the bottom of the screen will display the following words:
3. Add the configuration on the additional configuration command line: Hpsa.hpsa_simple_mode=1 Hpsa.hpsa_allow_any=1,:
4. Press ENTER to continue installation
After these steps, the installer can identify the hard drive of the HP server.
