Ubuntu 14.04 Installation Sogou IME

The corresponding Deb package can be downloaded from the Http://pinyin.sogou.com/linux/?r=pinyin page. The http://pinyin.sogou.com/linux/help.php page has Sogou Input method for Linux installation help.

Now, here's the problem, the installation guide says: Ubuntu 14,04 lts version, just double-click the downloaded Deb package. But according to the above methods, can not switch smoothly the Sogou input method. After the search found that there is sogou pinyin but cannot be configured, indicating that the installation is successful, but the configuration is a bit problematic.

Found in System setup and language support, my keyboard input farmer thinks: IBus. IBUs is also the official Ubuntu Default Input method (statement: This is different from Ubuntu Kylin). However, Sogou Pinyin is dependent on fcitx, not FCITX, so we need to switch.

If there is no FCITX option to install: Restart the sudo apt-get  install fcitx fcitx-pinyin machine.

After entering the Ubuntu system found that the input method or not. Later, I thought carefully, when installing the system I chose English, perhaps the system did not install Fcitx-pinyin. Tried, sure enough, really did not install (sudo apt-get install fcitx-pinyin), and then restart the system, and then sogou pinyin out!
