Ubuntu file sharing on VMware

This paper is implemented on Ubuntu12.04

1. Installing Samba

sudo apt-getinstall Samba

2. Setting up sharing

Select the folder you want to share, right-click, and select "sharing options" such as:

Note Select all multi-marquee.

This is where Ubuntu shared folder settings are completed.

3. Windows access

First, perform ifconfig in Ubuntu to see the current IP settings.

Then, "Run" in Windows

Once you're done, you'll be able to see the Ubuntu shared folder.

Now we can copy the required files to this folder.
