Ubuntu Installation Sogou IME failed

When installing the Sogou IME, there may be an issue that cannot be found after installation, Sogou depends on FCITX, so you need to uninstall your own FCITX reinstall (the system may come with FCITX, I test the direct installation Sogou but cannot be configured, choose to reinstall FCITX) .

basically three steps .1, add FCITX keyboard input system, because Sogou depends on the FCITX tool, and the system default is IBUs;2, install Sogou input method;3, language settings.

 

The first step, add FCITX keyboard Input Method System ① Add the following sources first:sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fcitx-team/nightly

② need to update the system after adding the source: SUdo Apt-get upgrade

③ start installation fcitx: sudo apt-get install FCITX
To see if the installation was successfulStep Two, install Sogou Input Method ① Select the installation package that matches the number of its own system, my system is 64 bits, so I download 64-bit installation package. is: http://pinyin.sogou.com/linux/

② after downloading, double-click Install

step three, set Language Options① to System settings, language support, set the keyboard input method system from the default IBUs to Fcitx

② Restart Save Configuration

③ Search out the FCITX configuration, click the lower left sign, the Sogou input method is set as the default
