Check the steps:

1. Does the network pass?

Method: Ping the server name/ip-t

2. Try to log in to the server using an IP address

3. Configure the Hosts file to join the server +ip (path: C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)

If the configuration Hosts file is invalid, the network parsing fails, the Application server configuration (Start-Program-UF erp-u8-system service-Application server configuration) to the data server to the IP address, the workstation changed to IP login;

If it still does not work, continue ...

4. Whether to cross the network segment, if yes, in the IP advanced options in the "WINS" setting, add the server's IP in.

5. Check that the IP settings of the server are static IP or automatically acquired?

If automatic acquisition, the user is required to change to static IP;

6. If you have multiple network adapters, disable one of them.

7. Is the port unblocked?

Method: Telnet Server name/IP port number (sqlsever 1433, Ufsoft 4630, Web 80)

8 a firewall? WinXP, Win2003 's own firewall, or commercial firewall software

Method: Turn off the firewall

If the customer is unwilling to close, set up a firewall, open the 1433,4630,80 port

9. No firewall? After Telnet test, 1433 does not pass (4630 is pass), cause the software cannot connect the database situation

Method: A, if win2003, check whether SQL Server installed SP3 patch, no patch installed 1433 port is not open, (if the patch is installed, refer to the following scenario)

B, if you do install patches, refer to the following scenario: For WinXP, Win2003, because of the Windows MSDTC security settings, it also causes 1433. Processing method: Go to Component Services under Windows Administration Tools, and then "Component Services-computers-My Computer-right-click Properties-msdtc-Security Settings" to "Allow remote clients", "Allow remote control" in "Security Settings", "Allow Outbound" "Allow inbound" "Do not Authenticate" and so on all settings. And then 1433 can make it through.

10.windows security settings are also related, mainly the settings of the permissions.

Method: A, lets the user log in the system with the user in the Administrator group, usually uses the adminstrator;

11. Database Issues

Method: 1, the SA is set password, if set, then clear the password;
2, whether the SQL authentication method is Windows authentication, if, instead, mixed authentication; (Enterprise Manager-Right-click Properties-Security)
3, registers the ADO control, namely registers C:\Program Files\Common Files\system\ado\ All DLL files or installs the Microsoft Data connection control mdac2.8.
12. The server and workstation are operating normally and the network connection is normal.

1, re-install the network card driver, adjust the relevant parameters, recommended to take the default value
2, the use of genuine anti-virus software, clean up viruses
3, close some anti-virus software with the firewall, Network Dart tool (known to be likely to conflict with UF software including Jinshan Poison, KV3000, rising, etc.)
4. Re-install the corresponding version of UF software
Second, SQL related version
