Uninstalling applications using the WebSphere Scripting tool

If WebSphere cannot be started because of an application, you may need to uninstall this application to restart WebSphere.

But in this case we have been unable to access the WebSphere Management console via the Web to uninstall the application.

The only way to do this is to uninstall the application using the scripting tools provided by Webshpere.

CD C:/websphere/appserver/bin

Wsadmin-conntype None Note: You can connect to the management console locally if WebSphere does not start

$ADMINAPP list//display of applications installed

$ADMINAPP Uninstall Application Name

$AdminConfig Save//
