Use Python to import an Excel file to an Oracle database

Source: Internet
Author: User

Since it is often necessary to import data from Excel to Oracle recently, I wrote a script dedicated to this

Note:

This script can run normally only when the xlrd library and cx_Oracle library are required. The download and installation methods will not be mentioned.

Usage:

[Plain]
Insert_excel.py db = usr/passwd @ db excel=all_data.xlsx SQL = "insert into aa values (: n1,: n2, to_number (: n3), NULL )"

Insert_excel.py db = usr/passwd @ db excel=all_data.xlsx SQL = "insert into aa values (: n1,: n2, to_number (: n3), NULL )"

Db is the database connection string, excel is the excel file name you want to import, and SQL is the insert statement you want to use.

In SQL, n1 corresponds to the first column of data in excel, n2 corresponds to the second column, and so on.
