PowerPoint 2000 provides 19 animation effects that can be used to design better works, but for some special effects it often requires other software (such as Flash). In fact, as long as you are flexible to apply the animation effect provided in PowerPoint 2000, you can also design some special effects of the work, see the following four special effects production examples.
Flashing
Take the text "China Computer Education newspaper" as an example to explain:
1. Input text
"China computer Education newspaper", and then set up a good format.
2. Select the text and set the animation
In the Custom Animation dialog box, select the appear effect under animations and sounds in effects, and after animation, select Hide After animation (Figure 1). "." Select the start time in the start animation of the time Order option, select After Previous event, and determine the time (that is, the time of the blink interval) based on the situation, typically set to 1.

3, set the number of flashes
Select the set of text and press "Ctrl+d" to adjust the newly generated text to coincide with the original text. Press "Ctrl+d" to generate multiple text, which is the number of flashes. To modify the effect of the last text, select "Do not Darken" in "after animation."

Rotating
We use the hands of clocks to rotate to illustrate:
1, draw the contour of the clock
Select the Oval button on the Drawing toolbar, press the SHIFT key and drag the mouse to draw a circle and format it with no fill and line colors.
2, draw the hands of the clock
Select the arrow button on the Drawing toolbar and draw an arrow. And then edit the vertex to adjust to the appropriate position.
3, set the animation of the pointer
Method with the 2nd step in the flashing effect.
4, set the number of pointers
Generates 60 arrows, edits its vertices, adjusts to the appropriate position, and the basic format is shown in Figure 2. Set other animations at the same time, in the same way as the 2nd step of flashing.
Mask
Masking technology seems to be a unique technique for flash, and it's perfectly achievable in PowerPoint (see Figure 3). The implementation process is as follows:
Figure 3
1. Input text
Enter "China computer Education" and the font color is the same as the background of the slide.
2, set the mask
Select the Ellipse button on the Drawing toolbar to draw a circle, and set its fill color to be different from the font color. and adjust the position of the circle so that it is near the left side of the text, the diameter of the circle larger than the text.
3, set the animation and number of circles
Method with steps 2nd and 3rd in the flashing effect, in order to show the continuity interval of 0. The number of circles depends on the length of the text, the number of the circle to cover all the text, the interval is best close some.
4, set the level of the text
Select the text and place the text at the top level.
Surging
The "Genesis of Rocks" in high school Geography (Fig. 4) is illustrated with PowerPoint to simulate the changes in magma surges in the Earth's crust. The following methods are implemented:
Figure 4
1. Draw Magma Layer
In AutoShapes, select the Curves button in line, draw the magma area and adjust it, then fill it with red color. Draw multiple areas in turn, noting the size and shape of the area.
2. Set up animation
From the bottom up, set the animation effect of each area in turn. In the Custom Animation dialog box, select the up effect of the erase under animations and sounds in effects. Select "Do not Darken" in "after animation", and select the start time in start animation in the time Order option, and select "After Previous event" for a time of 0.
Through the above several examples are not think PowerPoint 2000 function is rich enough, the heart is not as manual, quick try it! Let's explore more special features together.
