Vim syntax does not highlight the problem

Today new to a Linux server to work, one in to find grammar is not highlighted. I opened the file with VI.

And then all sorts of changes. VIMRC stuff.

Changing the term environment variables will not work.

I've been tinkering.

It was later discovered because VI was not aliased into vim.

In this way, syntax highlighting and other advanced things are the function of vim.  And VI is the basic Editor, you can understand that VI is part of the system. Vim is an enhanced version.

The solution is to add a row to the. BASHRC

Alias Vi= ' Vim '

This is used to open the file with VI students, you can actually use the vim of this program, and enjoy its convenience.

The novice is like this, the sad reminder of the experience, I hope others do not like me to waste time.
