VMware and Windows drive letter sharing

Installing the system in the vmwarevm is troublesome to upload files from the local machine to the system in the VM. We all know that VMware provides a tool to share files with virtual machines and access local files, which is the same effect as in virtual machines.

 

Step 1: open a virtual system, select "Edit virtual machine setting", and configure the system:

 

Step 2: Select "CD/DVD (IDE)" on the left, "Browse..." on the right, and "windows. ISO" under the VMware installation path. The tools tool is installed.

 

Step 3: add the shared local folder and drive letter as follows:

After confirming, open the virtual system and check "my computer". Click "vmwaretools". After installation, restart and access the files shared by the local machine in the virtual system.
