When I go into the WinPE system, I see the screen when I open My computer.
As shown in the picture above, when you go into the WinPE system to open My computer, we can find that the U disk has occupied the disk of C disk, and the system disk (that is, the usual C-disk letter) is D, today small set to teach you how to prevent U disk occupy other disk letter.
Method One :
1. Create a new TXT text document in the U disk, and then enter the following two lines of characters in the document (the red word on the right is a comment and no input is required)
SUBJ%curdrv%//Delete the original USB disk letter
Show R:1,u//u disk new allocation letter for u:
2. Rename the text document to "Changeusb.ini" (the suffix must be. INI),
3. Open My Computer under the PE system, locate and open the Pecmd.ini file (this profile can usually be found in the SYSTEM32 folder). Add a line of the load command to the command statement and automatically load the "Changeusb.ini" file you have built in the U disk by using the leader of the load command. With the command:
The load directory Changeusb.ini, where the directory represents the storage path of the Changeusb.ini file, which is stored directly on the U disk instead of in a folder on the U disk, so the command entered is: Load removable disk (G:) Changeusb.ini!
Method two: Using the U parameter of the init command
1. Enter the WinPE system to open My computer, find the WinPE kernel configuration file Pecmd.ini, open it and in the init command plus u parameters;
2. After the execution of the Inti command, enter the following two lines of command parameters (the red word on the right is commented, no input is required);
Team SUBJ%usb%|show r:1,u//Delete the original U disk letter, and reassign the letter to U;
Team ENVI $USB =u:| ENVI $USB 1=u://Reset two environment variables related to u disk letter;
Comparing the two methods above, we can find that the principle is the same, but it must be used in the case where the WinPE system can recognize the U disk.
