Windows.old is an old system file that replaces the Windows.old file after the user installs the new system, resulting in a windows.old file that does not work much after the new system is installed. Of course, the Windows.old file is a system file that takes up a lot of system space. Windows.old is when a user installs a new system, such as a Win7 system, without reformatting the partition, so that files from previous versions of Windows are saved in the Windows.old folder. That's why the Windows.old file was created. Of course, if you need to restore the files and settings to their original locations, you can reclaim disk space without the Disk Cleanup-Remove Windows.old folder method.

Before the meaning and source of the Windows.old file, then the Windows.old folder will occupy your system disk a lot of space, such as your system installed in the C disk, then there will be full of C disk space, then we need to delete the Windows.old file. The specific method of operation is as follows:
