What to do when you upgrade Win8.1 prompts "Your Windows 8.1 installation cannot be completed"

Cause Analysis: This problem typically occurs when an error occurs while downloading or starting the installation.

Workaround:

First verify that the application in the download store and the Windows Automatic Updates function are normal.

1. Press the Windows key +x on the keyboard and click on the pop-up menu "command Prompt (admin)";

2. Enter "Wsreset" in the Command Prompt window and press ENTER on the keyboard;

3. The application store is opened and prompts "the cache of the application store has been cleared." Now you can browse applications in the App Store.

4. Go back to the App Store home page and download Windows 8.1 again.
