Why do I not like Linux?

Not only me, but I believe this is a shared experience of many of my friends who started learning computers in the same period as me (1996-2000.
I am infatuated with such things as the dos reference book and the dos program reference manual.

It is nice to use pc tools to change dir in command.com to another name.
Those who wish to become the "dos advanced user" mentioned in the book.

After work and using windows, I suddenly found that I can work without knowing these things and can work better.

In windows, registry databases have replaced scattered ones. after the INI file, the so-called advantages of the text-form configuration file by L fans became obvious to me.
After knowing that it is easier to work without command lines, I can no longer accept the "Revolution" saying that command lines are better than guis.

I am a light tool. Linux is too many tools for me. In shell, a regular expression in sed, there are three different but not much difference in make, which makes me very uncomfortable.
After the old software on windows is eliminated, you can forget it. But in Linux, with perl, you can convince yourself to forget awk, scripts written by others will remind you all the time before you forget. There are many other similar csh and bsh options, but the problem is that you have to choose them all. what you love, you don't like.

I admit that unix is a good software, but any truth is justified. I don't think that unix and his later concept copywriters linux are good software for today.
For me, that is the perfect dinosaur. The unix dinosaur has died in its age, and the Linux Godzilla still exists as an alien.
