Why do we look down on open-source frameworks in China?

I wrote a few articles on open source in China years ago. I felt very sad when I saw replies from my netizens. I felt that everyone looked down on open source in China.

I think on blogjava, as long as it introduces open-source foreign technologies such as struts2, ext, and spring, no matter what the quality of the article is, everyone applauded; as long as you find that articles about open source such as jdon, springside, operamasks, and easyjweb in China are all ridiculed or scolded by everyone regardless of the quality. This is a very strange phenomenon. For communities like blogjava that advocate full freedom of speech, you can imagine what will happen to the "people-owners" community dominated by a small part of javaeye? From this phenomenon, we can see that many people have printed a similar label: "The Chinese cannot make a decent open source, and the open source is garbage.

In fact, in my "third-eye" series of articles, I have come to the conclusion that these frameworks are carefully studied, and what I have written is completely true, at least till now, no client can say that I am writing something about them.

Many people say that I just blindly boast the open-source colleagues in China and have not seen their shortcomings. They are not objective, but have you read the deficiencies in these open-source projects that I have mentioned? For example, the following summary:

"Springside's shortcomings are actually very obvious. First, in the software field, there is no real best practice. All kinds of technologies are optional. A seemingly clumsy thing, as long as you keep up with one partner, originally, the shortcomings will also be compensated. For example, if EJB is applied to spring, the best thing for an enterprise is that everyone is most familiar with and can solve the problem. "

"It can be said that jfox only implements a small part of jpa1.0. What is the core of JPA? Object and link ing, while the most difficult link Is Object-Oriented Query (ejbql) and processing of various object relationships and table associations, such as onetoworkflow and manytoworkflow. Jfox is a JPA container implemented based on an SQL mapping framework such as ibatis, so the functions are limited ."

"Technological advances are always done. There are still many problems in the design of the jdon framework. For example, the user domain model is required to inherit the model class of jdon or implement the modelif interface. The business implementation class for adding, deleting, and modifying queries must include methods similar to createxxx (eventmodel em, as a result, the entire framework is too invasive to the business layer and does not meet the actual application requirements. In addition, too many designs closely bound to struts1.x are not desirable ."

"Although a core team consisting of Jiangnan, CAC, and Jinsha has been formed, code and documentation are basically a person. Code is the life of an open-source project, such a project should be well done, and the appfuse in China determines that this is an impossible task, so it will be far from success."

"If you want to develop web applications and use ejbs, but cannot support distributed applications, why do we still choose ejbs? Spring, jdon, guice, and easyjweb all contain IOC containers. And more pojo, why should we choose to use EJB and jfox? Therefore, I don't know whether this design and restriction is an innovation of JNDI or a result of the limitations of jfox design ."

"Although the struts1.x market is still very large, we should be clear that today many web frameworks are gradually replacing struts1.x, such as webwork (or struts2) easyjweb, operamasks (JSF), and grails. As an application framework, to get more application support, jdon must support integration with these frameworks to provide more support and give developers more options ."

"Springside is not good at cooperation. For example, there are already many excellent open-source projects or frameworks in China, such as operamasks, jfox, jdon, and easyjweb. Through recent in-depth research, I found them both very good. However, in springside projects and documents, nothing is related to these open-source projects !"

I think that to do a good job of open source in China, we need not only the perseverance of many open source fighters as described in my article, but also the use of these open source fighters by more people, to learn and exchange your experiences in the open-source community, you must be able to objectively point out the technical deficiencies and problems of these open-source projects, rather than killing them.

Finally, I would like to advise some of my friends: it requires a dull mind to engage in technology. Today's society is very dry. If we are blind, it will be even more dangerous.
