Why is the Windows Sidebar missing in Windows8?

After Windows 8 Consumer preview has entered the desktop by default, there are no sidebar tool items as shown in the following illustration:

How do I set the Windows 8 Sidebar's gadget set to the desktop? Please refer to:

The first step: in the desktop space, the mouse "right button" click, select "Gadgets";

Step Two: When you select Gadgets, the following interface appears:

As shown in the Red box, double-click the gadget, and the default appears on the right side of the desktop (the display position can be dragged and adjusted).

To remove the desktop sidebar, point to the gadget you want to remove, and then, as shown in the Red box below, click Fork to remove the corresponding gadget.
