Win8 recovery and reset prompts: Some files are missing

The failure recovery and reset features of Windows 8 do not use the prompt "missing some files that your Windows installation or recovery media will provide for these files", as shown below:

Solution:

1. Click the "Settings" option in the Super button;

2. Click the "Settings" option in the "Change computer settings";

3. Select the "General" option in "Change computer settings";

4. Select any of the 2 recovery models, "restore your computer without affecting your files" or "Remove all content and reinstall Windows." The following figure selects "Restore your computer without affecting your files":

5. Do not insert U disk or disc, etc. before installing or restoring media;

6. Insert U disk or CD-ROM to install or restore media, click Restore.
