Windows Disk capacity expansion (dynamic disk)

Sometimes, when you do not want to change the disk and do not want to pour the data into the new disk when the need to expand, I can think of is the use of dynamic disk.

Because of the reasons for the job sometimes you need to do disk expansion for some organizations, I do a memo.

Right click on my computer point management, into the disk management, the need to expand the partition disk into a dynamic disk (if the running Windows system on this disk, the conversion may need to restart the system), and the system partition can not be expanded, but the system disk of the other partitions may be expanded.

To prepare a new disk, right-click Convert to Dynamic Disk. Then right-click the partition you want to expand and select the extended volume. Not to mention, check out the new hard drive.
