Windows install MySQL

1) Double-click the MySQL installation file Mysql-essential-5.0.82-win32.msi. Go to the Welcome page.

Click Nextbutton. Go to the Installation Type page.

2) The first item on the installation Type page is a typical installation, and the second item is all installed. The paths for these two installations cannot be changed. The default is:C:\Program files\mysql\mysql Server 5.0\(theC Drive is the system disk). The third custom allows the user to define the selection of installation components and installation paths. Select the second item here. The installation Type page is set to 1 as seen.

3) Click Nextbutton to go to the ready to install screen, display the installation type (type), path and other information that the user selected in the Ready to install page. Assuming that the previous options are incorrect, you can click theback button to return to the previous page and select again. Assumptions are correct. Click the installbutton to start the installation file.

5) After the installation of the file, there will be some information about MySQL 's function and version number. 4 of what you see.

6) After clicking finish . When you click on the nextbutton, the MySQLServer Configuration page will be entered. 5 of what you see.

7) This page has two options: specific configuration (default) and standard configuration. This selects the default item. 5 of what you see.

Click Nextbutton to go to the Server execution Mode page, 6 see.

8) There are 3 options in the Server execution Mode page . Here you can select the first default item (i.e. development mode,MySQLServer occupies the smallest memory space.

Fully sufficient as a local test use).

When you are finished, click Nextbutton to enter the Select database Type page.

9) This page has two types of database options. The first is a data system that supports multiple types of libraries such as MyISAM,InnoDB , and the second is to support only one type library. Here you select the default first item:Multifunctional Database, which supports multiple types of libraries. Set 7 to see.

This page selects the path for the InnoDB data file, where you select the MySQL datafiles folder under C disk . When selecting a partition, be aware of the remaining space size of the selected partition.

Click Nextbutton to complete the installation. Check the "Configure the MySQL server now" checkbox in the Installation Complete screen to start configuring MySQLserver, 9 what you see.

This page is the port setting for MySQLServer, and the default 3306 is available.

This page is to choose whether MySQLserver is self-executing. Suppose you want to add the MySQL execution path to the Windows environment variable path . Then you need to tick the "Include Bin Directory in Windows PATH" option. Page settings see.

in this page you can set the user login password (this instance is username root, password123, so it is recommended that users do the same settings, To facilitate the execution of this example). (5) Start MySQL Database

1) After installation , MySQL is ready to use. Make time available by starting in the Start menu.

Select "All Programs"/"mysql"/"mysql Server 5.0"/ "MySQL command line Client" menu command, as seen in.

2) You can start the MySQL command line client. The same time pop-up "enter Password:" Word, prompting the user to enter the login Password, enter Password "123" here. Press ENTER to pop up The information you see.
