First, configure DHCP options
DHCP can allocate many optional parameters in addition to the IP address and subnet mask that can be assigned to clients automatically. , these parameters are DHCP options. Here are a few common:
003: Router: IP address of the default gateway for the IP subnet where the DHCP client resides
006:dns server: The IP address of the preferred and alternate DNS server to use when the DHCP client resolves the FQDN
015:dns Domain Name: Specifies the default domain name that the DHCP client should use when resolving an incomplete FQDN that contains only the host but does not contain a domain name.
044:wins server: The IP address of the preferred and alternate WINS server to use when DHCP clients resolve NetBIOS names
046:WINS/NBT node Type: NetBIOS name resolution method used by DHCP clients
DHCP server options
The DHCP server option is applied to all DHCP clients that obtain an IP address lease from the current DHCP this option is inherited by default from all scopes configured in the current DHCP server. It is the lowest level in all options and will be overwritten if the configuration has the same option value.
The Point server option is right but the image above appears. Take the example of setting up the router option.
It's OK to point it out.
