Problem Description:
Production environment on-line fortress machine, use 2008R2 as the application publisher, provide some Windows program application services. After a period of time, it is found that the Remote Desktop session opens more and more slowly, and the upload download speed on the server is also getting slower.
Interim workaround:
A number of "disconnected" Remote Desktop sessions were found on the server, consuming a large amount of server resources, resulting in poor server performance. Bulk Select the disconnected session to log off, and found that the CPU, memory utilization significantly decreased.
How do I make a disconnected session automatically logout?
1. Administration Tools--Remote Desktop services--Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration
2. Connect-Select the corresponding connection, right-click to select Properties
3. Session--Tick "write user settings" and set "End disconnected session" time, where the session will be deleted immediately after the user disconnects, and the "active session Limit", "Idle Session Limit", "session limit reached or connection interrupted" feature can be selected according to the usage situation.
