Upgraded to Windows 2 Threshold yesterday (November 17). The device I use is surface Pro 3,4g memory, 128G HDD.
- Threshold 2 is pushed as a Windows system update. If you do not receive the system update prompt, in the system settings, check the update manually.
- The upgrade process goes well with the process, which is similar to upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After the upgrade, the OS version number is: 10586.3
- If Hyper-V is enabled, the Hyper-V feature is turned off before upgrading and will be removed from Hyper-V-related network devices (for example, networking Bridge, virtual network card, etc.) or the system cannot be networked after the upgrade.
- After the upgrade, the small chrome icon appears as a black box on the Start menu, and the large icon appears normal. It looks like threshold 2 doesn't see chrome much. :)
- Added the Windows Azure AD sign-in feature, but currently only supports the international version of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure AD Services. The Chinese version of the account is not recognized.
- "China Microsoft", the default search engine of Edge browser is Baidu, poor Bing ... Fortunately, you can manually change back to Bing or other search engines.
- Edge browser opens the page with a noticeable increase in speed. But don't know why, since the upgrade, access to Microsoft Azure International has become very difficult. Is Microsoft Azure International going to be "mated" to kneeling? Hope is that I think more.
- After upgrading, remember to clean up the disk, remove the old version of Windows 10 backup and the Threshold 2 installation file, so that you can free up 10 g of disk space. This is especially important for the students who are using SSD disks (local tyrants please ignore).
