In a Word 2007 document, users can split a table into multiple tables, depending on their actual needs. However, tables can only be split from rows and cannot be split from columns. The steps for splitting a table in a Word 2007 document are as follows:

Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and click any cell in the dividing line of the table split.

Step 2nd, switch to the Layout tab in the Word 2007 table Tools Ribbon, and click the Split Table button in the merge group, as shown in the figure.
