Word sets the number of lines per page, but how does it differ from actual?

1, as shown in the figure, we often adjust the font size and character spacing, as well as paragraph line spacing, and so on to set the number of lines per page per line, or through the "document Network" in the page setup.

2, although this method is simple, but often found very inconvenient, for the specified number of lines and words of the document is difficult to tune correctly, such as the figure, set is 12 words per line, but the actual situation is indeed 10 words per line.

3, in fact, the most effective way is still through the "document Grid" to adjust. As shown, select File-page setup in the Word menu bar, as shown in the figure.

4, Next in the pop-up window to select the "document Network", such as the figure, you will see "Network" in the "Specify line and Character grid", selected in the character to enter the required number of characters per line.

5, back to the document page can see the set value and actual values are 12 words per line.

Note: The reason for the frequent inconsistency is that the "Specify line network only" or "Text alignment character network" setting is selected.
