Windows SharePoint service 3.0 has a built-in blog template, so some TX may find this title strange. I think wss3 can be built as long as one step. There is nothing to say. In fact, there are still some things to be repaired and modified. The default settings of some things are not used to us. If you are new to WSS, you still don't know where to modify the settings, so this is an entry-level teaching material.
- Install the wss3 environment.
- After the operating system is installed,
- You need to install the Microsoft. NET Framework 3.0 re-release package:
Note: During installation, you must first download files from the Internet, so sometimes the installation will fail halfway. If the installation fails, do not be afraid. If the installation fails, a shortcut will be generated on the desktop to continue the installation, generally, the operation can be successful after several retries.
- If you do not need to install a separate sqlserver server, you can use the built-in SQL Express,
- In this way, after Microsoft. NET Framework 3.0 is installed, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 can be installed.
Bytes.
After installation, follow the wizard prompts to configure wss3.
- Create a blog website
- Create or expand a web application
Open "Administrative Tools"> SharePoint 3.0 Management Center
Access from locationCreate or expand a web application
You can select "New web application", which is an improvement of wss3 compared with wss2. wss2 cannot create a new website, but can only expand the existing website.
Select the appropriate port and fill in other user names and passwords to complete the creation.
Open Location
After entering the interface, select the createdWeb Applications, Fill in the title description, and select a URL address (you can directly use/directory). The most important thing is to select "blog" as the template, fill in a user as the administrator, and click OK.
