After CentOS disables ipv6, the following error occurs: Module off not found.

Disable ipv6 in Centos 6 and Add the following content in/etc/modprobe. d/dist. conf:

Alias net-pf-10 off
Aliasipv6off

In this step, ipv6 can be disabled, but the error FATAL: Module off not found will be reported when you restart the network.

The solution is as follows:

1. Replace alias ipv6 off in the/etc/modprobe. d/dist. conf file with options ipv6 disable = 1

2. Add the following line to/etc/sysconfig/network:

NETWORKING_IPV6 = off

3. Disable ipv6 of iptables

Chkconfig ip6tables off
