Android-create a splash image

1. Use the convert command provided by ImageMagick to convert the raw format (convert-depth 8 splash.png RGB: Splash. Raw)
Note: Run The sudo apt-Get install ImageMagick installation package.
2. Compile the rgb2565 tool that comes with Android. The path is $ android_home/build/tools/rgb2565 (GCC-O2-wall-wno-unused-parameter-O rgb2565 to565.c)
3. Convert the raw file to rle565 (rgb2565-RLE <splash. Raw> initlogo. RLE)
Finally, pack the initlogo. RLE file into the root file system.

 

$ Convert-depth 8 splash.png RGB: Splash. raw # Make sure it is 460800 bytes long! $ Rgb2565 <splash. Raw> splash. raw565 # triple-check size before flashing! 307200 bytes $ fastboot flash splash1 g1-splash.raw565 $ fastboot reboot
