Android edittext has an attribute set Android: inputtype = "? "Is used to set the text type to help the input method display the appropriate keyboard type.

The following settings are available:

Text,

Textcapcharacters Letter size,

Size of the first letter of textcapwords,

Textcapsentences is only the size of the first letter,

Textautocorrect and textautocomplete are automatically completed,

Textmultiline multi-line input,

Textimemultiline multi-line input (if supported ),

Textnosuggestions does not prompt,

Textemailaddress: email address,

Textemailsubject: subject,

TextshortmessageShort Message (one more emoticons will be displayed)
